Any old surfers out there? Not yet senile and remember 1950s? When The Broadway

I was born in Letchworth in 1934 and lived there until 1958 so remember Letchworth as it used to be. Have been back a few times since then and find Letchworth much more lively now. Still remember the Broadway and the Palace cinemas and the time we all spent on the Common. We seemed to find plenty to do and life was less complicated then.
